The Alleghany Highlands YMCA Annual Campaign is now open! Entitled "Invest in Our Community", the goal of our 2012 campaign is $100,000.

Other great ways to support the YMCA are through the Kroger Cares and Applebees Dine to Donate community support programs.
Using cards obtained through the Alleghany Highlands YMCA, 5% of your purchases at participating stores and restaurants will be donated back to the Y...AND...on the second Thursday of each month 10% of dine-in food purchases at Applebees will benefit the Y.

IMPORTANT YMCA CLOSING INFORMATION On Friday, April 20th, the YMCA will be closed from 1-4 pm for repair work on the back flow prevention device for the water supply system. Youth who plan to come to the Y after school may still do so, but may not have immediate access to restrooms or showers. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we perform this necessary maintenance.

TEEN GROUP EXERCISE
GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES: Announcing our new series of classes and events for teens! Each weekday at 4 pm we will offer teen-only classes...Zumba, Spin, Cheer Tumbling, Hip Hop Aerobics, and Boot Camp. Boot Camp H2O, our water workout, will be offered on Wednesdays at 5:30 pm. This series gives high school students a great reason to come to the Y and get fit. Classes are free with a Y membership. |
