Join the Y for APPLEBEE'S DINE TO DONATE PROGRAM on December 1st!
Guests who dine at the Covington Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar from 11:00 am - 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1st will do more than just enjoy a delicious and filling meal. They’ll also be doing something fulfilling, because 10 percent of the profits from eligible dine-in and carry-out meals sold at the restaurant that day and evening will be donated to the Alleghany Highlands YMCA.
To participate, guests simply need to bring in a flyer provided by the YMCA and the restaurant will make the donation as part of Applebee’s Dining to Donate program. Funds raised event will help to purchase equipment and provide Membership and Child Care scholarship assistance for local families. After the September 1st event, cardholders may show their card at any of the South West Virginia Applebee’s locations and receive points for every $1.00 they spend. They will receive a free meal, valued at $10.00 for every 100 points earned, plus 5% of their pre-tax receipt will be donated to the YMCA – at no charge to the customer.
“Applebee’s Dining to Donate program allows guests to give back simply by eating at the restaurant – something they probably do often already,” said YMCA CEO Jennifer Unroe. “It’s an easy, practical way to help, and we’re pleased to partner with Applebee’s to raise funds for a cause that will benefit so many people in Applebee’s neighborhoods. Persons who wish to support this program may call the YMCA at 962-9622 for a Dining to Donate card and flyer. |
